Fried Green Tomatoes

Like many southern recipes, this is so easy as to be trivial. But (again, like many southern recipes) it tastes great.

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Slice the tomatoes to 1/4
  2. Dip them in the cornmeal (dip them in water first, or even egg, if they’re dry)
  3. Fry ‘em in a shallow pan with ample oil
  4. Soak on paper towels
