Recipe:Pad Thai Sauce

This one came with sesara's pad thai recipe.
Pad Thai Sauce
- 1.5C white vinegar
- 1.5C white sugar
- 1C fish sauce
- one half jar garlic chili paste (lan chi brand)
Heat the vinegar and sugar until combined; add the chili paste and fish sauce and mix.
- Maybe it's because I'm nominally vegetarian, but this much fish sauce is just too much for me! Next time I make this, I will probably split the fish sauce half-and-half with some tamari or, as Sesara recommends, light soy sauce. --Dustin 20:32, 25 January 2006 (CST)
- Maybe it's because I'm a cat, but I love fish sauce. Leave the other ingredients out, add the fish sauce to a metal bowl on the floor, and enjoy. --User:Harry
